ABOUT LAURA SCOTT
LIGHTING DESIGNER
Laura graduated from Seton Hill University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Design and Technology. For the past 5 years, she has been the lighting designer for the show Blood Drums at Dorney Park's Haunt and helped set up all the lights, sound, and fog at all the Haunt attractions and around the park. She has also worked for various theatre companies in the area including the Pines Dinner Theatre in Allentown. She has been a lighting designer with Basement Poetry for their production of OUT which centers around the LGBT community and was performed at the Ice House in Bethlehem . For the past 2 years, she has been the lighting designer with The Allentown Public Theatre for their summer children's theatre. Her most recent design was for a production of A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts. This is her second main stage production at the charter school, her first being the production of Sweeney Todd in 2019.
